The Lightning Tree
This story is about a tree, a storm of epic proportions, a special wilderness camp, and an important part of my own journey in training to become a naturalist and tracker. Enjoy!

Stone Tool Skills
This video will help you learn about the different stone tools that can help us in the wild. You can begin using the tools that all of our ancestors used for thousands of years, to make the things we need to build a good life. This video will get you on your way!
Wooden Pendants and Woodcraft
The skill of woodcraft is satisfying and fun, and this video will get you on your way! Making wooden pendants from oak, maple, ash and honeysuckle is something that will teach you about smoothing, sanding and polishing your work, and they make great gifts too! Enjoy!
Tree Journal
When you begin learning about trees, your world opens to you. To me, trees are like old friends, and each one has qualities that are amazing and beautiful. Their shape, color, fruit and strength all add up to good things, and I can't wait for you to discover these wonderful new friends all around you.
